Melbourne born John Anastasius Adgemis is the son of two Kastellorizian parents. His mother was born in Kastellorizo and his father was an Australian born Kastellorizian. John is married to a Kazzie and has three children and nine grandchildren.

John has worked in the Real Estate industry now for over four decades and has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the Residential Property Management field.

He has a genuine love and interest in the Kazzie Club due to his families roots, his paternal Grandfather John Vasili Adgemis migrated to Australia in the early 1920's cementing himself into Australian society much earlier than most greek migrants.

His mother was President of the Kastellorizian Ladies Auxiliary Club back in the seventies leading a very successful women's committee. John himself has been on Kazzie committees in years gone by as an office bearer back in his younger days when the youth committee was flourishing and had regular functions.

John thoroughly enjoys his sport in particular time out on the golf course and is a passionate supporter of the Carlton Football Club, he also thoroughly enjoys watching his grandchildren's sporting activities.
