Lena Coates is an Executive Coach, Leadership Consultant, Author and Speaker with more than 30 years' experience helping professionals and organisations achieve exceptional outcomes. As the founder of Lena Coates & Associates, she has coached and mentored thousands of professionals throughout Australia. She is also the author of Cracking the Confidence Code, inspired by her own experiences growing up in an ethnic family and the importance of confidence in achieving personal and professional success.

A member of the Kastellorizian Association of Victoria for more than 40 years, Lena has served the Association as Secretary and Vice President, contributing to its leadership, strategic direction and major community initiatives. Her connection to the Association is also deeply personal through her husband, Peter Coates. Lena co-ordinated the successful transition of the Kastellorizian of the Year Awards from The St Constantine and Helen’s luncheon to the prestigious KOY Gala Dinner, leading the organising team in delivering the event for six consecutive years. She also created and hosted Kazzie Connect during the COVID-19 pandemic to keep members connected.

Lena was also a member of the team that delivered both the Kastellorizian Association of Victoria's 100th Centenary Gala Celebration in 2025. She is passionate about preserving Kastellorizian heritage in honour of her late mother-in-law Sylvia Coates. Lena remains committed to ensuring future generations continue to celebrate and embrace their culture with pride for the next 100 years.
